Proposed Standing Rule for Change in Date of AMTA-NH Annual Meeting

• The Chapter Annual Meeting for the purpose of election of officers, approval of proposed annual budget and general business shall be held in the month of May.

Rational: Adopting this standing rule changes the existing date of the Annual Meeting from January or February of each year to May.  Your Board of Directors is recommending this change, beginning in 2011, to avoid the extra costs and inconveniences associated with cancellations of our most important meeting due to snow and ice storms.

A two-thirds vote of professional members present at the January 31, 2010 meeting is required to pass this proposed standing rule.
